Christmas in June/July

Well its official, I have booked my first Holiday Card session. Mom wants outdoors, lighthearted frollicking images for her holiday cards this year. So a nice field of tall grass, with yellow flowers and two girls.... will equal beautiful heirloom images. A new baby, a new family member...

I was so excited when M called me to arrange a Maternity session for her to celebrate child #4 on the way! I was so excited, since I met M when she was pregnant with #3, and captured the new family on a few occasions. Isn't she stunning!!

Close Connections

Sweet little boy, so brand new and so beautiful! I met mom and dad during her maternity session, and could just tell they would make sure wonderful parents.

Sometimes its the connections that are made before your baby enters the world that are the most undescribable. This image represents that to me, the connection between father and son, and the closeness and comfortableness that he feels with his parents only a few days after his birth.

Coming Full-Circle

I get so much pleasure out of seeing "my" newborns grow up! I capture little "E" when he was just a small little peanut of a newborn. And now, I'm capturing his 1 year portraits. Time does fly! Such a sweet natured, well loved little boy!

A Beach Baby...

This little one, who's birth is highly anticipated will live in the perpetual sea air! It was a delight to meet Mom and Dad to be, and their not so little pooch!

One more ... makes 5

When a new baby enters the world, its truly a time for celebration! Celebrating for child number 3 is the same for #1 or #2, and maybe even moreso, as you have more family members to celebrate with. The Mom has been a friend for a number of years and it was such a pleasure to capture this special time for her!

A Mother's Day Surprise

Dad arranged a photography session for his children, while Mom was away to surprise her for Mother's Day! Mom was to watch the slideshow Mother's Day morn! Not only was this such a wonderful present, but Dad did this all on his own (with Mom's friends help).

April Weddings

April Weddings are always special for me, as I too was an April bride. We had a gorgeous day for M & D, a gorgeous spring day for their wedding. A beautiful day, a beautiful bride and some really, really cool shoes! And she wanted those heels HIGHER, man, I don't think I could walk 10 feet on those heels as they are. She was stunning, her husband so handsome and everything went wonderfully.

I had such a wonderful time capturing M & D's wedding! Congratulations!

A long expected treasure...

This little baby is going to be born into such a loving little family. It was such a pleasure to meet "S" and her husband "S". They are excited and are greatly anticipating the birth of their little boy soon!

I just adore Mom's coloring!

I still get a good chuckle about the "meeting on the internet" joke!

A brand new little girl....

This little one, was all brandnew and just perfect. I captured Mom's maternity session right before she dropped and became uncomfortable, and I got to capture little "V" when she was just a few days old.

I often get a lot of images of them all curled up, but there is something about getting eye contact with a newborn. It just gives you a glimpse into their soul.

Its also special to capture the Mother Daughter, Daughter bond. Here is grandma (doesn't she look SO young to be a grandma) with her daughter and her granddaughter.

A brand new little boy...

There is a wonderful fulfillment in getting to meet the baby, and see a new family after capturing their Maternity session. This little guy, is one of these opportunities. Freshly born, wonderfully wrinkley and all smooshed up. Newborns are one of the most unique age-groups I capture, they can pee a lot, poop a lot, eat a lot and cry a lot, but you can capture such sereneness, quietness, thoughtfulness and their perfectness.

A pregnant pause...

This beautiful couple is expecting their first little bambino. Its always a pleasure to capture the excitement, the beauty and the antipation in Maternity sessions! This couple had the most beautiful light streaming through their bedroom window, and we utilized it to create wonderful, emotive images.

For these, I used my studio lights, to highlight the angles and shapes of the Mom to be.
